Terms & Conditions
- A child must be registered for a minimum of 2 days per week.
- It may be possible to offer half days where staffing and capacity in the relevant room allows. This arrangement is at the discretion of management and the offer can be revoked if it is no longer feasible.
- Fees must be paid in advance on a monthly basis and you are expected to pay the month’s fees in full by the 1st of each month. A penalty will be applied if fees are not paid in full and on time. The fee will be charged at 10% of the total value of the fees outstanding.
- Fees can be paid by Childcare Vouchers, Tax-Free Childcare, direct debit or bank transfer.
- In the event of a direct debit being rejected by your bank a penalty of £25 will be applied.
- Places are booked on a full time or part time basis on predetermined days.
- Changes to your child’s attendance pattern must be agreed with management at least 4 weeks in advance and confirmed in writing.
- Monthly payment schedule is based on 51 weeks to take account of the setting holiday closures. Families receive confirmation of the dates of our set holidays each year.
- Whilst we endeavour to accommodate individual requests, capacity in any room is governed by Social Services regulations therefore days cannot be exchanged on an ad hoc basis.
- Fees are payable for Public Holidays and any period of unexpected absences such as sickness.
- Snacks and a freshly cooked lunch are included in the fees.
- Discount is available for children attending five full days per week:
- First child receives 5% discount.
- First additional sibling receives 10% discount.
- Subsequent siblings receive 5% discount.
- Fees must be paid irrespective of whether your child attends the place reserved for them or not.
- Happy Days reserves the right to withdraw a child’s place should fees remain unpaid.
- Advance written notice of 4 weeks is required in the event of you withdrawing your child. If your child leaves before the end of the 4 week period the fees for these weeks are still required to be paid and you will be invoiced for them.
- Happy Days reserves the right to apply a fee for any parent who repeatedly fails to collect their child on time.
- Requests for additional hours for school aged children (i.e. closures) must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. A minimum of 6 children must be registered before a session can be confirmed.
- A £25 penalty will be applied when School/Nursery pick up is not cancelled in advance, and the car/bus and staff have already been tasked.
- Where a parent wishes to withdraw their child for the summer months, this is only possible on payment of a retainer equal to 50% of their usual monthly invoice.
